After his Ghajini in 2008, A.R.Murugadoss is back in Bollywood after a gap of six years. Ghajini was the first film to cross 100 crore mark in the domestic market which puts the expectations more for this film too. Besides, Thupakki was a big block buster too.

Holiday: Action of Akshay Kumar and the brains of A R Murugadoss.

The unpredictable treatment of the storyline keeps you hooked. While going for the Holiday, you might want to take it again.

This one applauds the jawans who live in the jaws of death, and is a 'wake up' call for all the 'sleepers' that abound. Bravo!

Holiday is mostly a delectable film. With Akshay's superfluous action sequences beguiling you to watch a film which isn't even close to as brainy as it seems, I will still recommend you to watch it for the lump sum enjoyment it delivers. It isn't a great film but surprisingly winsome and not entirely forgettable.

Holiday' is one film that will be liked by both the masses and the classes equally. It's sheer brilliance. It's pacy, it's fierce and it leaves you clutching to the edge of your seat plenty of times. The climax is a spectacle to watch. Don't miss this. You don't want to catch it on television later and regret not having watched it on the big screen.

Almost as an after-thought, Govinda shows up in a large-ish cameo, looking most ill-at-ease and out of place. What is he doing in a film like this? When will the South ‘masala' remake find a decent burial? It is long past its sell-by date.

Long duration and romance make Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty slow.
