Story:
Ab
Tak
Chhappan
2,
a
sequel
to
the
2004
crime
drama,
starts
with
Sadhu
Agashe
(Nana
Patekar)
retired
and
enjoying
a
laid-back
life
with
his
son
in
a
village.
Sadhu
Agashe's
character
which
was
originally
inspired
by
encounter
specialist
Daya
Nayak
plays
with
kids
and
goes
fishing
to
while
away
his
time.
The
crime
scene
in
Mumbai
has
just
not
changed
and
Home
Minister
(Vikram
Gokhale)
summons
Sadhu
Agashe
to
get
the
situation
under
control.
However,
a
junior
cop
(Ashutosh
Rana)
is
not
happy
about
this
decision.
Even
as
Sadhu
Agashe
goes
around
encountering
criminals,
tragedy
strikes
in
his
personal
life
again.
This
makes
him
take
an
extreme
decision.
Gul
Panag
plays
the
role
of
a
crime
reporter.
The
story
revolves
around
Nana
Patekar
and
the
encounters
he
makes.
Will
he
bring
back
peace
in
the
state
or
will
he
fail,
is
the
story
all
about.
Performances:
A
decade
later,
the
original
film
is
brutally
killed
in
what
could
be
called
a
totally
unnecessary
sequel.
Nana
Patekar
plays
his
part
with
ease
and
masters
the
role
just
like
the
original
with
some
good
dialogue
delivery
in
his
true
style.
When
it
comes
to
Gul
Panag,
one
wonders
why
is
she
even
in
the
film?
Raj
Zutshi
is
a
good
choice
to
play
the
negative
character.
Worst
production
qualities,
horrible
background
music,
jaded
dialogues,
cringe-worthy
camera
angles,
script
which
is
pointless
and
unimaginative
makes
this
sequel
quite
disastrous.
Ab
Tak
Chhappan
2
fails
to
do
justice
to
a
talented
performer
like
Nana
Patekar
with
its
horribly
gone
wrong
plot.
Verdict:
Give
it
a
miss
in
theaters
and
watch
the
original
at
home
if
you
want
to
save
your
money!
