Varun Dhawan: ABCD 2 An Ode Indian Dancers

By Ians English

Varun Dhawan, who has started shooting for Remo D'Souza's ABCD 2, says the film is dedicated to dancers across the country. The youngster who flaunted his dancing skills in movies like Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, is ready to wow his fans again.

"Since I was a little boy I've had a passion for dancing. Today (Sunday) I start#abcd2 as an ode to dancers across India (sic)," he tweeted Sunday.

For ABCD 2, he has teamed up with Shraddha Kapoor, who had earlier called him a "fantastic dancer" and that she was nervous to match dance steps with him. Remo D'Souza says that Varun was so comfortable while shooting for SOTY, "I was surprised at how comfortable this debutant was in front of the camera."

He added, "Also, he is a fab dancer. In ABCD, I made actors out of dancers, but for the sequel I was sure I wanted an actor who can dance." True that Remo waited for Varun's Main Tera Hero and his performance. Immediately after that Remo decided to cast Varun.

"He was fabulous in the film and that's when I decided that before this guy gets too busy, I must lock him as he's the best among the young lot," says Remo.

ABCD 2 is a sequel to 2013 dance film ABCD: Anybody Can Dance.
