Rajeev Khandelwal has a nation chanting his name. People of all ages go ga- ga over him and the hysteria attached to his stature is infinite. Best remembered onscreen as Sujal , life is has a lot more to offer this ambitious actor.

Born on 16 October in Rajasthan , his life was not a bed of roses. He wanted to be a part of the Indian army but his fate took a different turn.He went to Delhi , wrote and directed a few documentaries on social issues like women labour.He also directed a fictional series for DD called Samarpan on the guys in the paramilitary forces which was shot in Kashmir.

Rajeev had a short stint in modeling. He had modeled for several brands like LML bike and Green Label whisky.Balaji Telefilms gave him his first break in Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat where he portrayed a negative role as the protagonist. Although it went off air in no time , Kahin To Hoga created magic in the character of Sujal Garewal. The ambitious, go-getter and egoistic character was much loved by everyone. It was now , no one could escape the magnetism of Rajeev Khandelwal. He became so famous that the show was pulled off air because his stardom overpowered the show.

But that did not dampen his determination to move forward. Rajeev was back in action in May 2005 with the Time Bomb being telecasted on Zee TV. This 24 episode serial dealt with the subject matter of conflict . Rajeev has also done a cameo in C.I.D.in Sony. Rajeev will also be seen in Left Right Left cast opposite Shwetha Salve on Sony which has some excellent promos.
