Aishwarya Rajinikanth is an Indian film director, playback singer, and the elder daughter of legendary actor Rajinikanth.

She was born on January 1, 1982, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.She is the daughter of Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth. Her younger sister is Soundarya Rajinikanth.

Aishwarya completed her schooling at Ethiraj College for Women in Chennai and later pursued a master's degree in International Business from the United Kingdom.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth is married to actor Dhanush, whom she met during the production of the film "Puthukkottaielerenthu Saravanan."Aishwarya made her directorial debut with the Tamil film "3" in 2012, starring her husband Dhanush and Shruti Haasan.Aishwarya has also tried her hand at playback singing. She lent her voice for a song in the movie "3."

Aishwarya, along with Dhanush, has ventured into entrepreneurship. They co-own a production and distribution company called "Wunderbar Films."
