Akhil Kapoor Biography

Akhil Kapoor is an Indian film actor and nephew of actor Vinod Khanna,and cousin of actors Rahul Khanna and Akshaye Khanna.

He trained in acting and film making at the New York Film Academy and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.. He will make his debut in Anand Kumar's upcoming movie Desi Kattey.

He started his career as an assistant director on films such as Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love (2007) and Race (2008) and also assisted director Reema Kagti and producer Zoya Akhtar on Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd (2007)

Akhil Kapur is also a seasoned mixed martial artist, self defense expert and also has a degree in Sports Science. He is the co-founder of India Fight Factory, a martial arts and security services company.
