New York fixture Allison Sarofim has quietly but quickly been getting involved in the movie industry. Already a renowned patron of the arts and a regularly featured staple of publications like Vogue, Town & Country, The Financial Times, BalckBook, Avenue Magazine (cover) The New York Times (the Sunday Times did a five-page feature on her in 2006 and Paper Magazine listed her as one of their 50 most beautiful people), Allison is full-speed ahead pursuing her acting and producing career. As the founder of 66 Productions, she already has three projects in full swing in 2008. After receiving her BA with high honors from Rice University, she moved to New York and went on to obtain her culinary degree from The New York Culinary Institute while simultaneously getting "hands on" training as an apprentice in the infamous Le Bernardin kitchen. This training and experience led to her opening what was to become one of New York's hottest restaurants, Vandam, known not only for its cuisine but it's regularly star-studded bar scene. During this time, however, her passion for acting never faltered.

Allison diligently trained with well-known New York acting coach Sheila Gray. Her persistence and natural talent led to her debut in Disney's worldwide blockbuster, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe", where she was featured in the final battle as a Centaur. She has a role in the Weinstein Company's "The Nanny Diaries", the film adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name, starring Scarlett Johansson. In her next project, Sarofim appears alongside Oscar-winner Sissy Spacek and Troy Garrity in the searing southern drama "Lake City", a 66 Productions film. Most recently, she has been cast in a supporting role with Rebecca Rominj in a yet to be titled horror movie slated to be filmed in 2008. Allison still maintains her position as a contributing editor for Domino magazine, a Conde Nast award-winning publication about interiors and lifestyle.
