Anil Kapoor Biography

Anil Kapoor is an Indian film director, producer and as well as international films and television series. He has also won numerous awards in his career, including two National Film Awards and six Filmfare Awards in different acting categories.

Personal Life

Anil Kapoor  was born in 1959 to Surinder and Nirmal aka Suchitra Kapoor. He has an elder brother, Boney, a sister, Reena, and a younger brother, Sanjay.

The actor got married Sunita Kapoor in 1984. The couple was in a relationship for 11 years before they tied the knot. The couple have three children, two daughters and a son. His eldest daughter Sonam Kapoor is an established name in Bollywood.

Career Life

He first appeared on the silver screen in Hamhare Tumhare in a character role. His first lead role was in 'Woh 7 Din' and from thence on there has been no looking back. He has acted in close to a 100 movies, and has many more in the production stage. He has produced two movies (Gandhi My Father & Badhaai Ho Badhaai), as well as been a casting director/outdoor in charge of 'Hum Paanch'.
