Anu Emmanuel Biography

South Indian actress Anu Emmanuel usually appears in Telugu and Tamil movies. She was born on March 28, 1996, to Thankachan Emmanuel, a producer in the Mollywood business, and Nimmy Emmanuel, a Malayali Catholic who was raised in Chicago, Illinois, with one sibling named Allen Emmanuel.

She was born and raised in the United States and attended college there, but she developed a deep love for acting and moved back to Kottayam, Kerala. She resides with her Malayali actress relative Reba Monica John. She earned a psychology bachelor's degree and graduated.

Career Life

Anu made her acting debut in Action Hero Biju, a Malayalam movie starring Nivin Pauly. She made her film debut in Telugu in 2016 alongside Nani through Majnu. She also participated in other Tollywood productions including Oxygen, Agnyaathavaasi, and Kittu Unnadhu Jagratha with Pawan Kalyan in 2018.

Anu was introduced to the Tamil film industry by Mysskin through Thupparivaalan with Vishal, and she featured opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Namma Veetu Pillai, her second Tamil film. She appeared in several Telugu films with her acting, including Alludu Adhurs and Maha Samudram in 2021, Urvasivo Rakshasivo and Ravanasura in 2022. She appeared in Geetha Govindam as a cameo and is still a mainstay of the Tollywood scene.
