Charisma Bharadwaj Biography

Charisma, the great grand daughter of Sri D.K Bharadwaj - author of Bharadwaj English to Kannada dictionary - has pursued her graduate studies in Arts--Journalism, English literature and Psychology from Mount Carmel College. She speaks the languages Kannada, Tulu, English and Hindi.

Charisma has made her presence in 50 plus commercial ads, including brands like Kingfisher and Virgin mobile. She was a Miss India south finalist in the year 2008 and had gained the title--Femina Miss beautiful eyes.

She made her debut in 'PUC' (Please You See) Kannada film directed by SR Brothers. Her second film in Kannada called ‘Birugaali’ hit the theatres in February 2009, in which she was paired opposite Chetan of Aadinagalu fame. She plays the role of a girl next door. She has received applause for her performance, especially in the song ‘Madhura pisumathige’ sung by Mohit Chauhan.

Charisma has a bunch of talents besides acting. From a very young age, she had a soft corner for art. She paints, writes and happens to be a very good dancer. She has learnt four to five different kinds of dance and classical music--Hindustani and Carnatic. Also, she holds a black belt in Taekwondo.
