Kavya Shastry is an Indian film and television actress, she started off with a show In Uday Music as an anchor. Her popularity in the show was noted by director Chandra who cast her for the film Yuga (2007) for a female lead opposite Duniya Vijay. She became more popular amoung small screen after playing the role of Shraddha in Shubavivaha serial.
Kavya was very good at paintings and also wanted to direct a feature film in future.
