Nikhil Siddhartha Biography

Nikhil Siddhartha is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. His breakthrough appearance came in the 2007 movie Happy Days. Later on, he went on to star as the lead in well-known movies like Yuvatha, Swamy Ra Ra, and Karthikeya. For the films Karthikeya 2 in 2022 and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada in 2017, he received accolades and awards.

Persoanl Life

Nikhil Siddhartha was born on June 1, 1985, in Begumpet, Telangana, to Kavali Shyam Siddhartha and Veena Siddhartha. Rohit Sidhartha and Sonali Sidhartha were his two siblings. After completing his education at Hyderabad Public School, he earned a degree from the Muffakham Jah Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Nikhil got his start in the film industry as an assistant director on the film Hyderabad Nawabs. Before starring in Happy Days, the first film in Tollywood with an overseas release date before the Indian release, he played small roles in a number of films. On May 14, 2020, Nikhil married Pallavi Varma in a lavish ceremony. Before dying on April 28, 2022, his father battled the rare cancer corticobasal degeneration for eight years.

Career

Nikhil began his career as an actor in the 2007 movie Happy Days, which also starred Varun Sandesh, Rahul Haridas, and Tamannaah. The movie was directed by Sekhar Kammula. The movie gained a lot of popularity and recognition among viewers and critics, and it also made 10 times its initial budget at the box office.

He entered a new era of his career with the box office success of his 2013 movie Swamy Ra Ra, when he began choosing new material over generic mainstream flicks. Also, he delivered huge box office hits, including Swamy Ra Ra in 2013, Karthikeya in 2014, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada in 2016, and Keshava in 2017. Each movie received a respectable box office haul and was a crowd favourite.

Nikhil rose to prominence as a leading actor in the Tollywood industry, and he continued to make respectable movies for the market with movies like Keshava and Kirrak Party. Then he went on to star in the sequel to his massive hit Karthikeya 2, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, which became a watershed moment in his career. With box office receipts of 121 crore, the film became the first in history to break the 100-cr club.
