Shanvi Srivastava Biography

Shanvi Srivastava is an Indian actress and model who primarily appears in Kannada and Telugu films, with a few Malayalam and Hindi films thrown in. She got Filmfare and SIIMA Awards for her roles in films like Masterpiece, Tarak, and Avane Srimannarayana, for which she was widely acclaimed.

Personal Life

Shanvi was born on December 8, 1992, in Varanasi. She has one elder brother and one elder sister, Vidisha Srivastava, who is also an actress in South Indian films. Shanvi studied at the Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Mumbai and completed her B.Com degree in 2013. She is also doing an MBA in Mumbai.

Career

Shanvi began her acting career in 2012's Lovely While pursuing her undergraduate degree and now pursuing her MBA studies, she played a fashion design student in her second Telugu film, Adda, and critics praised her for her portrayal. According to The Times of India, Shanvi "gets all her expressions perfect in the extensive role she has." She was referred to as a "huge plus" and a "massive advantage for the picture" by Indiaglitz.com and 123telugu.com.

Then Ram Gopal Varma cast her in his Telugu political thriller Rowdy for a brief cameo as Vishnu Manchu's love interest. She made her Kannada cinema debut in 2014 with Chandralekha, a horror comedy. Optimistic praises for her portrayal of a character who becomes possessed by a ghost were given to her. For Christmas 2015, she will collaborate with Yash in the Kannada flick Splendor.
