Sonam Kapoor Biography
Sonam Kapoor is an Indian film actress born on 9 June 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Sonam Kapoor was born to actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. She is the eldest of the three children. Sonam completed her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir School in Juhu and then she went to United World College of South East Asia to do her International Baccalaureate.
Career
Before she started her career as an actress, she worked as an assistant under Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She has assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his film Black which was released in 2005. Later, she debuted in films with the film Saawariya in the year 2007, which was a flop.
In the year 2010, she appeared in the film I Hate Luv Storys which became her first success at the box office. Sonam's role in the Anand L. Rai-directed romantic drama Raanjhanaa marked a turning point in her career.
Marriage
On April 8, 2018 Anand Ahuja (Owner of Bhane and co-founder of Veg Non Veg, a multi-brand sneaker store in India) tied the knot with Sonam at Rockdale bungalow, which is Sonam's aunt's residence in Bandra.
