Soundarya Rajinikanth Biography

Soundarya Rajinikanth is a graphic designer, producer and director in Chennai, who has contributed in several movies in Kollywood. She is the youngest daughter of movie star Rajinikanth and the well-known entrepreneur, Latha. She has one elder sister named Aishwarya, who is married to actor Dhanush.

Soundarya has worked as a graphic designer for her father Rajinikanth 's title sequences and few other movies like Sandakozhi, Anbe Aaruyire, Chennai 600028. She has produced a movie 'Goa' a multistarrer movie under the banner name of 'Ocher Picture Productions'.

Her directorial debut was supposed to be Sultan: The Warrior, a 3D animated film featuring her father Rajinikanth, but the film was dropped. Later, She made her debut as a director with the movie Kochadaiyaan starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Soundarya married Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist, on 3 September 2010. The couple has a son, Ved. In September 2016, Soundarya revealed that she and her husband had filed for divorce by mutual consent due to irreconcilable differences. In July 2017, the couple officially divorced.

She has married Vishagan Vanangamudi, an actor and businessman, on 11 February 2019 at Leela Palace in Chennai.
