S. P. B. Charan is the son of popular Indian singer S. P. Balasubramaniam, and an Indian film actor, producer and also a playback singer. He has appeared in the Tamil film, Saroja.
His popular songs are "Nagila Nagila" from Alaipayuthe, "I Love you Shailaja" from Mazhai, "Please Sir" from Boys, "Maaja Maaja" from Jillunu Oru Kadhal, "Oru Nanban Irundhal" from Enakku 20 Unakku 18, and "O Shanti" from Varanam Ayiram. Known for his voice similar to his father yet different in a certain way, Charan has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry.
