Dakota
Blue
Richards
plays
the
role
of
Lyra,
a
girl
who
travels
to
a
parallel
universe
to
fight
the
forces
of
evil
and
rescue
her
best
friend.
The
movie
would
be
directed
by
Chris
Weitz
and
is
said
to
be
New
Line's
biggest
project
after
The
Lord
of
the
Rings
at
$150
million.
Kidman
won
the
Academy
Award
for
her
leading
role
in
The
Moulin
Rouge
in
2002.
