sold
out
as
firms
have
booked
all
the
slots
available
for
advertisements
well
before
the
nominations
were
even
announced.
They
had
anticipated
the
veiwership
for
the
globally
televised
event
despite
"poor" nominations.
A
spot
lasting
for
half
a
minute
cost
1.7
million
dollars
for
the
firms.
The
same
the
last
year
was
a
hundred
thousand
dollars
less.
The
show
which
is
telecast
all
over
the
world
got
a
veiwership
of
around
forty
two
million
world
wide
with
the
national
share
in
that
rating
being
38
percent
(25.4
per
cent)
