Washington (ANI): Actor Richard Gere has received a lifetime achievement award at a Spanish film festival. The 58-year-old actor was honoured with the Donosti award at the 55th annual San Sebastian Film Festival in North-Eastern Spain, on Sep 23rd.

The Pretty Woman star insisted that although he has received the lifetime achievement award, he is willing to work for some more years, and that the award is certainly a boost. "I still have some more years left to do movies and this is encouragement for me to work in the future," Contactmusic quoted Gere, as saying. Earlier, Woody Allen, Robert De Niro, Jessica Lange and Matt Dillon were honoured with the same award.
