Eva Longoria will receive more than $2 million from a magazine for exclusive coverage of her wedding, it has been reported.
The Desperate Housewives actress, who is set to marry basketball star Tony Parker in a French castle in July, was also approached by an American magazine but decided to give its rival the rights.
A magazine editor-in-chief said, "These were obviously highly coveted photos, and we were thrilled to negotiate the exclusive rights. Covering great moments with the celebrities that we love is what the magazine's all about." People magazine is said to be incensed about missing out on the much sought-after deal.
A source told the New York Post newspaper, "People editors broke the story of their wedding and were working hard with Eva's reps to secure the picture rights. They were upset about losing the photos.
