Washington (ANI): Actress Jennifer Garner is set to star alongside actor Kevin Kline in the Broadway revival of 'Cyrano de Bergerac', to be helmed by David Leveaux. The play originally written in 1897 by Edmond Rostand, will be played at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, Variety magazine reports. The play is based on the life of real Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac, a brash, strong-willed Cadet in the French Army, who has an extremely large nose, which is a target for his own self-doubt.

This prevents him from expressing his love for his cousin, the beautiful Roxane, as he believes that his ugliness forbids him to 'dream of being loved by even an ugly woman'. The 'Alias' actress will portray Roxane while her 'Take Me Out' co-star Daniel Sunjata will play her dumb-but-hot love interest Christian de Neuvillette, a young cadet in the same regiment as Cyrano. The play produced by Susan Bristow will begin previews at the Rodgers on October 12 for a November 1 opening and will run till December 23.
