Aussie
stunner
Jennifer
Hawkins
has
agreed
to
star
alongside
comedian
Steve
Martin
in
The
Pink
Panther
2.
A
sequel
to
last
year's
remake
of
the
classic
Peter
Sellers
comedy,
the
film
will
see
Hawkins
playing
a
small
role.
The
actress,
who
is
currently
filming
a
segment
for
the
Channel
Seven
travel
show,
'The
Great
Outdoors'
in
Ibiza,
was
originally
offered
to
play
the
female
lead,
but
since
she
was
unable
to
accept
the
role,
the
producers
had
to
think
of
a
different
arrangement.
"I'm
so
excited
and
even
though
I'm
not
going
to
be
able
to
accept
the
main
role
they've
offered,
I
hope
that
we
can
still
find
time
in
November
and
December
to
take
a
smaller
role,''
Moviehole
quoted
Hawkins
as
telling
The
Sunday
Telegraph.
A
couple
of
years
ago,
too,
Hawkins
had
to
let
go
the
lead
role
in
the
Adam
Sandler
comedy
Click
owing
to
other
commitments.
