Jennifer Lopez to become a mother

London (ANI): Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez may finally be on the mommyhood path for latest reports claim that the singer/actress is pregnant with her first child. According to American magazine In Touch, Lopez and husband Marc Anthony received the good news after visiting her Beverly Hills gynaecologist, fertility specialist Dr. Robert Katz. Sources have told the publication that the 'Wedding Planner" star had an ultrasound performed in a New York office on Sept. 12.

"The test calculated that she was about 12 weeks pregnant," the Sun quoted an insider, as telling the mag. Lopez has been trying to conceive for the past two years and eventually turned to in vitro fertilization. And close friends of the couple claim that the baby news could be a double blessing, for doctors believe Lopez could be expecting twins. "The way the fetus is lying made it difficult for the doctor to tell if there was more than one baby in there," a friend told the mag.

It is not certain whether the pregnancy reports will hinder the couple's upcoming tour dates, which begin in early November. This will be Jennifer and Anthony"s first child together. Anthony already has three children from previous relationships.
