Lindsay
Lohan's
father
says
his
daughter
needs
to
find
God.
"When
Lindsay
puts
God
back
in
her
life,
things
will
turn
around," said
Michael
Lohan,
a
former
alcoholic
who
now
counsels
troubled
youths.
"Until
then,
I'll
just
keep
praying."
Lindsay
Lohan
was
arrested
in
Beverly
Hills
at
the
weekend
on
suspicion
of
driving
under
the
influence
after
her
Mercedes
convertible
struck
a
kerb.
Investigators
found
what
they
believe
were
cocaine
at
the
scene
Meanwhile,
the
troubled
actress
Lohan
has
checked
back
into
rehab,
her
publicist
confirmed.
Lohan's
decision
to
admit
herself
into
"an
intensive
medical
rehabilitation
facility'' came
after
the
'Mean
Girls'
star
was
arrested
on
suspicion
of
driving
under
the
influence
over
the
weekend.
"Because
this
is
a
medical
matter,
it
is
our
hope
that
the
press
will
appreciate
the
seriousness
of
the
situation
and
respect
the
privacy
of
Lindsay
as
well
as
the
other
patients
receiving
treatment
at
the
facility,"
said
a
statement
issued
by
her
spokeswoman
Leslie
Sloane
Zelnick.
It
is
not
the
first
time
Lohan,
20,
has
been
admitted
to
rehab.
The
actress,
a
well
known
face
on
the
Hollywood
party
circuit,
checked
into
the
Wonderland
rehabilitation
centre
in
Los
Angeles
in
January
after
allegedly
collapsing
at
a
party
after
the
Golden
Globes
award
ceremony.
Her
latest
stint
in
rehab
follows
a
string
of
negative
press
stories
about
her
nights
out
on
the
town
and
it
is
unclear
whether
her
career
will
be
compromised
as
a
result.
A
trade
paper
reports
that
Lohan
is
about
to
begin
filming
latest
movie
project,
'Poor
Things',
a
comedy
starring
veteran
actress
Shirley
MacLaine.
Lohan
was
last
year
lambasted
by
the
producer
of
her
most
recent
film,
Georgia
Rule,
over
suggestions
that
her
social
life
was
interfering
with
her
work.
The
arrest
of
the
actress
on
Saturday
in
Beverley
Hills
is
likely
to
raise
further
questions
about
her
life
off-screen.
Police
detained
Lohan
on
suspicion
of
driving
under
the
influence
after
she
crashed
her
sports
car,
which
was
carrying
two
passengers,
into
a
curb
on
Sunset
Boulevard.
Officers
also
confirmed
that
a
"useable
amount" of
a
drug,
hesitantly
identified
as
cocaine,
was
found
at
the
scene.
Less
than
48
hours
later
Lohan,
who
is
still
below
the
US
legal
drinking
age,
was
snapped
by
photographers
slumped
in
the
passenger
seat
of
a
car.
It
now
seems
that
even
vodka
company
Svedka
are
prepared
to
shun
Lohan
after
her
latest
exploits.
According
to
reports,
the
drinks
firm
had
planned
to
sponsor
a
lavish
21st
birthday
bash
for
the
actress
but
have
now
decided
to
pull
out
following
the
negative
stories
about
Lohan's
supposed
alcohol
abuse.
