Washington (ANI): Actress Michelle Pfeiffer turned down the offer to star in 'Basic Instinct' because she found the bare all scenes too daunting. The 49-year-old revealed that she was approached to star as the seductive femme fatale, Catherine Tramell, which was later played by Sharon Stone. Pfeiffer declined the part as she found the 'sexual parts' and 'nudity' too bold for her.

"How did you know about Basic Instinct? I just couldn't do that one, because of the sexual parts, the nudity. My father was still alive. I'm kind of prudish," Contactmusic quoted Pfeiffer, as saying. The 'Hairspray' actress insisted that she was not very comfortable with bare all scenes as she is rather reserved. And honestly? I am not that uninhibited about my body. I'm modest," she said.
