Phillippe, Sean Bean in Last Battle Dreamer

Washington (ANI): Actors Ryan Phillippe and Sean Bean are teaming up star in the Viking epic 'Last Battle Dreamer'. Joining the two in the Menno Meyjes directed film will be actress Abbie Cornish, reports the Hollywood Reporter. Backed by Future Films, with Handmade Films International handling sales duties, the movie is scheduled to start filming later this year. Meyjes, who describes the movie as "a love story written in fire and blood", has also penned the script for it.

In 'Dreamers', Phillippe stars as a seventh-century Viking warrior named Thorfinn who, along with his older brother Hakon, to be played by Sean Bean, invades Britain. For the moment however, the cast and director are busy on other projects. While Phillippe and Cornish are currently working on Kimberly Pierce's "Stop Loss", Meyjes is completing post-production on his biopic of Spain's most famous matador, "Manolete," starring Adrien Brody and Penelope Cruz.
