New York (ANI): It looks like Rosie O"Donnell isn"t done with slamming Donald Trump, for she has allotted a few pages in her new book to continue the verbal bashing of the billionaire. O"Donnell had a run-in with the Miss Universe pageant owner, after the latter decided to reinstate Tara Connor, who was accused of drug abuse, as Miss America. O"Donnell alleged that Trump was trying to generate publicity for the pageant.
In her new tome 'Celebrity Detox" that will be launched on October 2, O" Donnell has called Trump a 'torn scarecrow" and 'a slug". Talking about Connor"s reinstatement, the former 'The View" host said that Trump"s falseness angers her more than anything. "It is Trump's falseness that angers me more than anything . . . I spoke my mind. People found it funny," the New York Post quoted her, as writing in her book.
“I honestly did not anticipate the malice of his response . . . I assumed Donald believed he had money. I did not assume Donald believed he was money. But apparently he does . . . The stuffing of his self spilled out - think of a torn scarecrow, only instead of hay, it's crisp $100 bills blowing through the cornfields," she added.
O'Donnell added that Trump reminded her of 'garden slugs . . . I could write one small comment on my blog, and Donald would predictably distend, flowing forth with a torrent of insults . . . Then he'd appear on some talk show looking wrinkled, old and empty, with a Jell-O orange combover". "I did not anticipate that he would be cruel enough to do what he did to Barbara [Walters - whom he called a liar]. She should have been left alone," O" Donnell said.
Trump too has spared a few pages for O"Donnell in his new book 'Think Big and Kick Ass" to lambaste the comedienne. “I devote some time to Rosie in my book. As you know, she said I went bankrupt and ABC apologized. Rosie lies. I got angry because I never went bankrupt. I'm worth 8 billion dollars today. She never said that. She writes false stuff . . . Rosie is a loser, a very sad case - unattractive both inside and out. I'll make a little wager my book sells a lot more than hers," he said.
However, Cindi Berger, O'Donnell's rep, said that there is no way anyone could have got hold of the book, since even the galleys are yet to be produced. "I find it hard to believe you got a copy of this book as there were no galleys even produced. The pub date is Oct. 2," she said.
