London
(ANI):
One
of
the
most
famous
Hollywood
couples,
Tom
Cruise
and
Katie
Holmes,
seem
to
have
a
very
little
popularity
in
the
French
Riviera,
for
they
were
recently
turned
away
from
a
St.
Tropez
nightclub
in
front
of
dozens
of
onlookers.
The
pair
was
refused
entry
to
the
Caves
Du
Roi
club
in
the
exclusive
Byblos
Hotel
because
the
club
was
full.
The
bouncers
did
not
let
Cruise
in
even
when
the
actor's
security
told
them
his
identity.
"The
VIP
area
was
full
and
the
management
weren't
willing
to
move
the
guests
already
there
to
make
room
for
Tom.
It
wouldn't
have
been
fair
-
they'd
spent
a
fortune," the
Mirror
quoted
a
club
source
as
saying.
A
spokeswoman
for
the
hotel
has
confirmed
that
Cruise
and
Holmes
had
been
turned
away
because
the
club
was
full.
"It
would
have
been
dangerous
to
allow
any
more
people
in
-
whoever
they
were," she
said.
Rap
mogul
star
Sean
'Diddy'
Combs,
who
came
to
the
Caves
with
the
members
of
the
Dubai
royal
family,
was
however
allowed
entry.
