Actress Angelina Jolie broke down in tears in a press conference as she revealed how her dead mother inspired her to take the lead role in her latest film. Jolie was talking at an event in London to promote The Changeling, and started to cry when discussing her late mum Marcheline Bertrand († 56).
The actress, who has six kids with husband Brad Pitt, plays Christine Collins in the film, who is devastated by the disappearance of her nine-year-old son. The Hollywood star told stunned reporters that talking about the character reminded her of her own mother, who died in 2007 from cancer at the age of jut 56.
Angelina struggled to hold back tears as she swept her hair out of her face. Her voice faltered.
