star
Cynthia
Nixon
is
all
set
to
exchange
vows
with
her
female
partner
Christine
Marinoni
later
this
year.
The
42-year-old
star,
who
played
Miranda
Hobbes
in
the
HBO
series,
had
gone
for
surgery
and
six-and-a-half
weeks
of
daily
radiation
treatment
when
she
was
diagnosed
with
the
disease
in
2006.
The
traumatic
experience
has
made
her
decide
to
cement
her
relationship
with
Marinoni
by
officially
declaring
their
commitment
to
each
other.
Nixon,
mother
of
two
with
former
lover
Danny
Mozes,
has
lived
with
Marinoni
in
New
York
since
2005,
and
will
be
celebrating
their
union
in
a
ceremony,
which
will
be
a
low-key
affair.
"It
will
be
a
low-key
gathering
with
just
close
friends
and
family
attending," The
Sun
quoted
a
source,
as
saying.
