Washington
(ANI):
Actor
Daniel
Craig
would
like
nothing
more
than
to
return
to
his
theatrical
roots
and
taking
to
the
stage
once
again.
The
actor
made
his
stage
debut
at
the
age
of
16
in
a
production
of
Shakespeare's
'Troilus
and
Cressida'.
However,
after
years
of
struggling,
Craig
decided
to
try
his
hand
at
something
different
and
set
his
sights
on
films,
making
his
big-screen
debut
in
1992's
The
Power
of
One.
The
actor,
who
wowed
critics
with
his
performance
as
the
new
James
Bond,
admits
to
AOL
movies
that
he
would
love
to
return
to
his
roots,
but
only
with
the
right
script.
"My
ideal
would
be
to
choose
some
new
writing.
I
have
nothing
against
the
classics,
but
new
writing
to
me
seems
like
it
gives
you
a
chance
to
try
new
stuff
out,
stuff
no
one's
ever
seen
before.
I
think
that
makes
for
a
much
more
exciting
theatre
experience," Contactmusic
quoted
him,
as
saying.
