Washington (ANI): Diane Keaton has signed on to star in the road trip dramedy The Widows Adventure. The film is based on a novel by Charles Dickinson, reports Variety. The story is centred on two widowed sisters who embark on an unlikely trip from Chicago to Los Angeles, setting off a comic family odyssey of revelation and reconciliation. Gold Circle president Paul Brooks is producing the film with Rosa Entertainment's Sidney Sherman.
Gold Circle's Scott Niemeyer and Norm Waitt are the executive producers and the shingle's Brad Kessell, who brought the project in, is the co-producer. No production date has been set. Mandate International will handle foreign sales.
