Washington (ANI): Leonardo DiCaprio is set to produce Conspiracy of Fools, a Warner Bros. drama about the Enron scandal. The pic will be based on the Kurt Eichenwald book of the same name. The drama revolves around a tax attorney who joins the Houston-based energy company and peels back the layers of greed and fraudulent accounting to expose a financial scheme.
Robert Schwentke is directing from a script penned by Sheldon Turner, reports Variety. DiCaprio is producing along with Jennifer Davisson. The actor had also been attached to star in the lead role. However, his involvement has been put into doubt given his busy schedule.
Warner Bros. is also planning to make two more dramas – on outed CIA agent Valerie Plame and her husband Ambassador Joseph Wilson based on her memoir "Fair Game" and one on poisoned ex-KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko starring Johnny Depp.
