London
(ANI):
Hollywood
actor
Leonardo
DiCaprio
has
admitted
that
he
was
too
young
and
immature
to
cope
with
the
fame
he
received
after
starring
in
Titanic.
The
34-year-old
actor
became
a
star
overnight
after
landing
the
lead
role
in
the
1997
film
alongside
Kate
Winslet.
However,
DiCaprio
has
admitted
that
he
was
not
mature
enough
to
handle
the
fame,
which
came
along
with
the
success
of
the
film.
"Titanic
began
a
period
of
rebellion
for
me.
As
soon
as
people
give
you
enough
compliments
and
you
suddenly
have
more
power
than
you've
ever
had
in
your
entire
life,
it's
not
that
you
become
an
arrogant
p***k,
or
you
become
rude
to
people,
but
you
get
a
false
sense
of
your
own
importance," the
Daily
Express
quoted
Leonardo,
as
saying.
The
actor
said
that
he
was
too
young
to
actually
understand
the
depth
of
the
condition
and
digest,
as
to
what
was
going
on
with
him.
"You're
treading
in
dangerous
territory
when
you
begin
thinking
you've
altered
the
course
of
history.
It
was
like
a
runaway
train.
I
didn't
understand
what
was
happening
to
me,"
Leonardo
said.
