London
(ANI):
Welsh
television
producer
and
creator
of
Doctor
Who,
Russell
T
Davies,
has
revealed
that
he
is
desperate
to
have
Welsh
actress
Catherine
Zeta
Jones
as
a
co-star
in
a
film
version
of
the
BBC1
hit.
Davies,
45,
who
is
an
award-winning
writer,
wants
Jones,
38,
to
be
David
Tennant's
co-star
on
the
big
screen.
"Being
from
Wales
myself,
I'd
love
to
have
Catherine
Zeta
Jones
as
a
companion
for
the
Doctor," the
Sun
quoted
him
as
saying.
But
his
one
insistence
is
that
no
one
could
replace
Tennant,
37,
as
the
Time
Lord.
"To
have
anyone
else
would
be
inconceivable,"
he
said.
When
the
new
Doctor
Who
boss
Steven
Moffat
hinted
last
month
that
the
sci-fi
hit
could
become
a
movie,
Davies
revealed
he
had
not
given
it
much
thought.
"I
haven't
had
time
to
spit,
let
alone
make
a
film.
It
would
be
hard
but
it?s
a
lovely
idea,"
he
added.
