London
(ANI):
Actress
Anne
Hathaway
said
that
she
had
split
with
businessman
Raffaello
Follieri
before
he
had
been
arrested
for
fraud,
not
after
finding
that
the
latter
was
in
trouble,
when
she
appeared
on
David
Letterman's
programme
'The
Late
Show'
on
Tuesday
night.
"We
were
over.
The
relationship
was
absolutely
done.
I
was
on
a
flight
from
Australia
when
I
found
out," the
Daily
Star
quoted
her
as
saying.
Follieri
is
awaiting
sentencing
on
14
counts
of
wire
fraud,
conspiracy
to
commit
wire
fraud,
and
money
laundering.
He
is
accused
of
posing
as
the
Vatican's
representative
in
America,
and
duping
investors
into
believing
the
church
would
sell
him
property
at
a
discount.
During
the
show,
Hathaway
appeared
to
be
cringing
and
laughing
uncomfortably
as
Letterman
made
fun
of
her
ex-boyfriend.
Letterman
asked
her:
"Was
there
ever
stuff
missing
from
your
purse?"
Anne
replied:
"I
don't
want
to
go
into
the
specifics
of
it,
but
you
do
have
to
give
me
credit.
As
far
as
relationships
crashing
and
burning
go...
come
on.
I
did
pretty
great.
I
mean...
scorch
that
earth.
I'm
an
all
or
nothing
girl."
She
insisted
that
she
had
already
moved
past
her
failed
relationship
while
keeping
up
with
her
professional
commitments.
She
said:
"I'm
promoting
my
movies
and
living
my
life.
I
got
to
keep
my
dog
-
that's
the
really
important
thing.
I'm
in
a
good
place."
