London
(ANI):
Angelina
Jolie's
doctor
has
slammed
rumours
that
the
actress
has
already
given
birth
to
her
twins,
insisting
that
it
will
be
a
few
weeks
before
she
actually
delivers.
Jolie,
33,
had
checked
into
a
hospital
on
Sunday
June
29
in
Nice,
France,
and
44-year-old
brad
pitt
had
been
spotted
visiting
her
several
times
on
July
2,
fuelling
rumours
that
she
has
delivered
the
twins.
But
Dr
Michael
Sussmann,
who
is
her
French
obstetrician,
has
denied
the
births
and
stated
that
it
is
just
a
normal
stay
and
nothing
more.
"Let's
say
the
birth
will
happen
in
the
weeks
to
come," the
Sun
quoted
him
as
saying.
"She
is
very
well,
and
she's
OK,"
Sussman
said
Wednesday
at
a
press
conference
in
the
South
of
France.
"Brad
and
Angelina
want
everyone
to
know
that
everything
is
going
well.
It
is
simply
a
visit
of
surveillance,
no
birth,"
he
added.
The
hospital
is
very
close
to
her
estate
in
the
French
Riviera,
and
the
reason
she
checked
into
the
hospital
was
so
that
she
can
rest
and
wait
out
the
final
weeks
of
her
pregnancy.
A
spokeswoman
for
the
hospital
said
the
visit
was
planned
in
advance
and
did
not
indicate
any
medical
problem.
