Jolie took action movie to recover from mum's death

Jolie
admits
that
she
signed
up
for
her
new
action
movie
Wanted
to
recover
from
her
mom's
death.
The
Oscar
winner
says
she
took
up
the
role
because
she
was
sliding
into
depression
and
needed
something
to
keep
her
physically
busy,
reports
Contactmusic.
"My
mother
had
just
passed
away
and
I
wanted
to
do
something
physical
to
get
it
out
of
my
head
for
a
while," she
said.
"I
felt
I
was
going
into
a
very
dark
place
and
I
wasn't
capable
of
getting
up
in
the
morning,
so
I
signed
up
for
something
that
would
force
me
to
be
active."
Jolie's
mum
Marcheline
Bertrand
died
of
cancer
in
February
last
year
(07).
The
actress
is
currently
in
hospital
as
she
awaits
the
birth
of
her
twins
with
actor
Brad
Pitt.
The
new
babies
will
take
the
number
of
the
Jolie-Pitt
clan
to
six.
The
A-list
celeb
couple
already
have
four
kids
sons
Maddox
and
Pax,
and
daughters
Zahara
and
Shiloh.
