London
(ANI):
Naomi
Campbell's
mother
defended
her
angry
daughter's
Heathrow
stint
and
said
that
the
supermodel
proved
to
be
saviour
in
her
battle
with
breast
cancer.
Valerie
Campbell,
55,
said
that
when
she
was
diagnosed
with
breast
cancer
three
years
ago,
it
was
her
daughter
who
left
no
stone
unturned
to
get
her
the
best
treatment
possible.
"Naomi
went
from
one
doctor
to
another
in
America,
pulled
all
her
contacts
and
did
not
take
no
for
an
answer.
My
daughter
saved
my
life," The
Mirror
quoted
Valerie,
as
saying.
She
also
defended
her
38-year-old
catwalk
queen's
recent
air
rage
attack
at
Heathrow
airport.
She
said:
"I
try
to
abide
by
rules
and
regulations.
If
you
break
the
law
then
you
must
pay
the
penalty.
And
I
think
Naomi
understands
that
very
well
herself."
Naomi
got
200
hours'' community
service
for
assaulting
a
police
officer
and
threatening
airline
crew
when

baggage
was
lost
