Sydney (ANI): Nine days have made all the difference to Nicole Kidman's baby bump. The actress' pregnancy hardly showed when she walked the red-carpet last week during the CMT Music Awards in Nashville. However, it was a whole different story when she spoke at a conference at United Nations headquarters in New York on Apr 22.
Dressed in a loose, navy-blue dress, the Oscar winner looked every inch seven months pregnant as she campaigned for additional support for an online petition aimed at eliminating violence against women. The United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) Goodwill Ambassador told reporters that she wants to help her children and other children around the world have a 'better life'.
"Every voice counts, and every amount counts," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted the star, as saying. According to UN figures, the 'Say NO to violence against women' petition has already gained the support of more than 200,000 people.
