Perez Hilton sues perezrevenge.com

New York (ANI): Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton a.k.a Mario Lavandeira has sued Silver claiming that the latter has been using the Web site, perezrevenge.com, to rip off his popular, trademarked name. Perez Hilton has taken legal action against Silver and the companies that operate the site, which posts celebrity gossip items.

"Defendants have set out on a campaign to mislead the public in an attempt to financially profit from their malicious and intentional infringement of Lavandeira's trademarks," The New York Daily News quoted the suit, as stating.

Lavandeira accused Silver of trying to cut in on the profits generated by his 'famous and distinctive' trademarks. On the other hand, Silver has a pending claim against Lavandeira for copyright infringement in the same courthouse.
