Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's daughter Christie Hefner is reportedly going to resign as the Chief Executive Officer, Playboy Enterprises Inc. next month. She has said that she likes to have a change in the leadership and this is the right time to make changes in her life.

Christie joined Playboy in 1975 and became the CEO of the Chicago-based publishing and entertainment company in 1988. She transformed Playboy from magazine publisher into television, video and the Internet while she completed two decades as CEO of the company.

She said, "Just as this country is embracing change in the form of new leadership, I have decided that now is the time to make changes in my own life as well."

Jerome Kern, who joined Playboy's board as a director in 2002, will work as interim non-executive chairman, until the Chicago based company finds replacement.
