reportedly
going
to
resign
as
the
Chief
Executive
Officer,
Playboy
Enterprises
Inc.
next
month.
She
has
said
that
she
likes
to
have
a
change
in
the
leadership
and
this
is
the
right
time
to
make
changes
in
her
life.
Christie
joined
Playboy
in
1975
and
became
the
CEO
of
the
Chicago-based
publishing
and
entertainment
company
in
1988.
She
transformed
Playboy
from
magazine
publisher
into
television,
video
and
the
Internet
while
she
completed
two
decades
as
CEO
of
the
company.
She
said,
"Just
as
this
country
is
embracing
change
in
the
form
of
new
leadership,
I
have
decided
that
now
is
the
time
to
make
changes
in
my
own
life
as
well."
Jerome
Kern,
who
joined
Playboy's
board
as
a
director
in
2002,
will
work
as
interim
non-executive
chairman,
until
the
Chicago
based
company
finds
replacement.
