Washington
(ANI):
Sharon
Stone's
lawyer
has
dismissed
reports
that
the
actress
lost
custody
of
her
8-year-old
son,
Roan.
According
to
the
offices
of
Stone's
attorney
Martin
Singer,
the
actress
went
to
court
in
hopes
of
gaining
permission
for
Roan
to
be
enrolled
in
a
school
in
the
Los
Angeles
area
-
where
she
resides
-
rather
than
in
Northern
California,
where
he
currently
lives
with
his
father
and
her
ex-husband,
newspaper
executive
Phil
Bronstein.
The
request
was
turned
down
because
Bronstein
"can
provide
a
more
structured
continuity,
stable,
secure
and
consistent
home
for
the
child," reports
FoxNews.com.
The
order
remains
permanent
unless
there
is
a
change
of
circumstance,
meaning
if
Bronstein
moves
out
of
San
Francisco.
The
couple,
which
divorced
in
early
2004,
have
a
'joint
legal
and
physical
custody' agreement
over
their
adopted
son
Roan.
