The toy list was complied by the Toy Retailers Association (TRA), and it represents 60 percent of the toyshops in Britain.

top
12
toys
chosen
for
this
year
has
shown
the
innovation
and
expertise
in
the
UK
toy
industry.

clever
new
twists
on
old
favourites
to
ingenious
use
of
new
technologies,
the
selection
strikes
the
balance
between
familiar
brands
and
the
new
kids
on
the
block,"
he
said.
Among the most expensive is a fluffy life-size FurReal Biscuit, My Lovin Pup, a canine covered in sensors that allow it to respond to strokes and cuddles, it costs 149.99 pounds, and even obeys orders. Meccano's 199.99 pounds high-tech surveillance robot Spykee, which can be controlled via wi-fi from anywhere in the world, feeds back live CCTV footage to the player. But cheaper is the Bakugan Starter Pack from Spinmaster, a strategy game, costing just 12.99 pounds.
