Anna Faris’s expensive gifts for her mother

Actress Anna Faris is buying expensive gifts to keep her strict mom happy as her mother is far from impressed with her daughter's raunchier roles in films like Scary Movie and The House Bunny. She shares that she might now have to buy a villa in Italy for her mom.

She tells contactmusic.com, "I still have my parents sort of haunting me to 'Act appropriate!' and 'Have good manners. I buy my mom off. With the Scary Movies (films), I started giving her Louis Vuitton handbags. Then, it was like, 'How am I going to top this?' Now she wants a villa in Tuscany."

And Faris insists she's not exaggerating how strict her teacher mother is as she banned her daughter from watching TV, reading magazines and playing video games when she was growing up. Faris tells Self magazine even the clothes she wore were scrutinised: "Anything with a V-neck was forbidden. Stirrup pants? That was a huge issue."
