Ashley Greene's stunt double in New Moon was man

Washington (ANI): Actress Ashley Greene's body double in action sequences in The Twilight Saga: New Moon was a man. A scene in the film demanded the actress to sit in a speeding Porshe. Producers were unsuccessful in finding a female, so they made a stuntman wearing a wig do it.

"It was a man! I'm not kidding! I guess there's not really stuntwomen in this part of Italy," Contactmusic quoted Greene as saying. However, the beauty got to drive around country lanes in the car.

She added: "They taught me (how to drive the Porsche)... but they would not tell me if they were gonna let me drive the car right until the last minute. I don't even know if they used my stunt double, but and they actually told me I drove faster than a stuntman. And I didn't break anything!"
