"So I met Clint Eastwood, and that impressed my dad - and not much impresses my dad! He thought, 'Clint Eastwood, blimey!' That was wonderful, actually, and to meet him was a real thrill. Extraordinary!
"He makes everything seem easy, and he makes the making of his films seem so easy as well - and they're not all like that! So he was great," he added. Boyle also revealed that he generally did not get so excited about meeting a celebrity. "I don't get so starstruck meeting actors, but I do meeting directors and writers," he said.

Boyle revealed that he had a reason to be so excited about his encounter with Eastwood because he could boast to his father about meeting a movie icon.
