Brand to get petting zoo for Katy Perry's birthday

London (ANI): British comedian Russell Brand is planning to surprise new girlfriend/singer Katy Perry on her birthday by bringing home fake animals or animatronics. The funny man has reportedly talked to the event organizers who set up a temporary petting zoo at The Grove leisure complex for a film, which the couple watched.

Perry was apparently left astounded watching it.Russell took Katy to see the movie Where The Wild Things Are at The Grove's cinema," the Sun quoted a source as saying. The insider added: "She was really taken with the petting zoo temporarily set up next to the Farmer's Market.There are real animals in one section and then this amazing fake menagerie for kids. You can milk the cow and ride on the pony. It's very kitsch and fun."

The 'I Kissed a Girl' hitmaker in fact wished to have a go on everything but didn't, as she didn't want to be photographed. The source added: "While she was looking at a goat being unloaded Russell got the contact details of the event organisers. "He has arranged for the zoo to arrive at Katy's LA home for her birthday. She will be tickled pink."
