set
to
return
to
the
land
of
comedy,
as
a
predatory
older
woman.
The
44-year-old
has
signed
on
to
play
the
role
of
a
mother
with
a
17-year-old
son
in
a
new
TV
show
called
'Cougar
Town'.
'Cougar'
is
slang
for
a
woman
on
the
prowl
for
a
toyboy.
Scrubs
duo
Bill
Lawrence
and
Kevin
Biegel
will
write
the
project.
"People
don't
do
the
reality,
but
there
is
real
comedy
about
a
woman
who
is
talking
about
Botox
and
having
sex
with
lights
on," the
Sun
quoted
Lawrence,
as
saying.
Cox
has
recently
been
honoured
at
a
charity
gala
for
her
commitment
to
cancer
causes.
The
actress
was
hailed
by
Hollywood
A-listers
such
as
superstar
couple
Beyonce
Knowles
and
Jay-Z
at
a
fundraising
dinner
in
Beverly
Hills,
California
on
February
10.
