Washington (ANI): American actress Farrah Fawcett has stopped her cancer treatment and is said to be doing well in her ongoing battle. The 62-year-old star, who was diagnosed with anal cancer in September 2006, underwent surgery to remove the tumour and began a course of chemotherapy and radiation before she was declared cancer-free.

According to news show Access Hollywood, her close friend and spokesperson Craig Nevius has revealed that the former Charlie's Angel star is doing very well after returning from Europe six months ago, reports Contactmusic.

Nevius said that Fawcett was no longer undergoing chemotherapy but is receiving follow-up care and is concentrating on improving her immune system.
